Your words are just like walls.
Setting up boundaries between you and me.
Your own neoliberal individual prison.
Disguised as meryth. As protection. Because...
Walls are fear.
Walls are selfishness.
Walls are fear.
Walls are painted in white.
Walls are fear...
Walls are selfishness...
In Gaza...
In Calais...
In your home...
In your mind.
Paredes
Suas palavras são como paredes.
Estabelecendo os limites entre você e eu.
Sua própria prisão neoliberal e individual.
Disfarçada de mérito. De proteção. Porque...
Paredes são medo.
Paredes são egoísmo.
Paredes são medo.
Paredes são pintadas de branco.
Paredes são medo...
Paredes são egoísmo...
Em Gaza...
Em Calais...
Na sua casa...
Na sua mente.
* Always me first. Always mine first. Mine things. I worked hard for it. I desserve it. And nobody has nothing to do with it. And everything else is not my problem... These thoughts and behaviors built the ideal enviroment for neoliberalism development. An economic system that puts private property and individual results over the social ballance. That turns meryth the perfect disguise for all this system’s nocive effects. And are exactly these thoughts and actions that keeps refugees arrested in Calais, confined in Gaza. Are these thoughts and actions that arrest each one of us.
* Sempre eu primeiro. Sempre o meu primeiro. As minhas coisas. Eu trabalhei. Eu me esforcei.
